Account Deletion
If you want to delete your account, email privacy@todays-facts.com and include the email address (or OAuth provider) you used to sign in, if applicable.
If you continue as a guest, we create an anonymous account ID. If you later create a full account with an email or OAuth provider, we link it to your existing anonymous guest account ID so your data carries over.
What we delete
When we process a deletion request, we remove or de-identify the account data associated with your account in our systems, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal or security reasons.
Delete some data (without deleting your account)
You can also request deletion of specific data without deleting your entire account. Email privacy@todays-facts.com with details about what you want removed. We may still need to retain certain information for legal, security, or compliance reasons.
Data we collect
- Account data: Email or OAuth provider ID (if you sign up).
- Guest account data: Anonymous account ID for guest usage.
- Usage data (anonymous analytics): Fully anonymous analytics events via Aptabase.
- Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data.
- Communications: Messages you send us for support or feedback.
Our service providers
- Supabase: Backend services for authentication, user data storage, and account management.
- Aptabase: Fully anonymous analytics. We do not send personal data to Aptabase.
- Google AdMob: Ad serving and measurement.
